Our Story
ZafTech was founded in Addis Ababa by a team of engineers and hospitality professionals who saw a gap: the restaurant technology market was flooded with solutions built for Western markets, none of which understood the Ethiopian context. ERCA compliance was an afterthought. Local payment methods were unsupported. Customer service was a time zone away.
We set out to build the software we wished existed. RMS is the result, a restaurant management system designed from the ground up for the pace and complexity of Addis Ababa's dining scene. From the traditional injera house to the modern rooftop lounge, RMS adapts to how you work, not the other way around.
